Selin Rollan wins MRT24 shootout and $100,000 for the 2018 Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup Season

Every one of us here at Rossini Racing, as well as our large extended family sends a MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to Selin Rollan for being chosen as the winner in the 2018 Mazda Road to 24 program.

The top Mazda drivers in the country were invited to submit applications for this prestigious title that awards the winning driver with $100,000 toward the Mazda Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup in 2018. In the end four drivers were selected to compete at the Bondurant track in Arizona. The final four drivers selected were Selin Rollan, Preston Pardus, Tyler Kicera and John D Allen, and we are pretty proud that at one time, all of them have been powered by Rossini Racing Engines.

From the day Selin first arrived in Spec Miata several years ago, he was immediately recognized as a talent behind the wheel, and his karting experience was there for all to see. Smooth with fast hands, and a calculated, aggressive and tactical driver. Yup, Selin could wheel a car!

We say thanks to all those that have helped Selin along the way, especially his wonderful family and also to Stu and Rob at BSI Racing Team. Just as with BSI, the Rollan’s have been part of the Rossini family since they started in Spec Miata and we are so thrilled to have them on our team.

We will be watching the 2018 Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup season with renewed interest this year
