Rossini driver Michael Gagliardo scores his first Majors podium at Blackhawk Farms

Michael Gagliardo is moving on up in the racing world. This past weekend Michael had his first Majors race at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.

In the qualifying session for the Saturday race, he brought his car home in 4th place. In Race 1, he quickly moved up to 2nd place and battled with Voytek Burdzy for a few laps. Unfortunately he suffered a brake problem, but was still able to salvage a 5th place finish.

In Race 2, Gagliardo had to start from 7th place, but he quickly worked his way up to 3rd place, and battled for the lead with local hotshots, Voytek Burdzy and Danny Bender. On the last lap he set up for the last corner, got a great exit, and finished alongside Bender for 3rd place on the podium and only inches behind race winner Burdzy.
