Danny Steyn Sets A New Track Record At Barber Motorsports Par

Danny Steyn obliterated the previous lap record at Barber Motorsports Park, running 1.2 seconds faster and set a new time of 1:46.73. This was done in sweltering conditions that registered over 100F and 100% humidity.

Steyn was in dominant form over the weekend and qualified on the front row for both races and won both races with a comfortable margin. In Race 1 he had a good scrap with Cliff Brown.
