Andrew Carbonnel and Danny Steyn had a great weekend at the Daytona International Speedway at the SEDiv Double SARRC.
In Race 1 Steyn qualified in 5th but a technical gremlin kept him from completing the caution filled race. Carbonnel raced up front with Tucker and Charbonneau and ended up 3rd at race end. Andrew got the fastest race lap of the day at 2:21.35.
In Race 2 Steyn and Carbonnel worked together getting to the lead as the race got to the final lap. Coming into the final straight they were freight trained by Rollan and Tucker. Steyn finished 3rd and Carbonnel 4th. After post race actions by the Stewards, Steyn was the awarded the race win by 6/1000ths of a second over Rossini team mate Andrew Carbonell. Steyn also got the fastest race lap of the day at 2:20.629
