Matthew Van Vurst Makes A HUGE Comeback And Leads The National At Homestead!

After a long absence, Matt Van Vurst returned to the SCCA Spec Miata scene with a superb showing at Homestead.

Matt qualified his Rossini Engine powered Miata to 4th place on the grid, just 0.4 secs off the pole qualifying time.

In Race 1, Matt drove the race of his life, getting to the front on lap2, before slipping back to 8th behind Rossini driver Alex Bolanos.

In Race 2, Matt took his 8th place qualifying time and converted it into a remarkable 6th place finish in one of the strongest fields in Spec Miata Racing.

The 2010 National Champion, Andrew Charbonneau won both races.
