Rossini Drivers Show Their Strength In Numbers At The Road Atlanta Majors

The strength of the Rossini Spec Miata program was on full display at last weekend’s SCCA Double Majors race weekend at Road Atlanta. In one of the deepest and strongest Spec Miata fields ever assembled at the track, ten of the 61 entrants were using Rossini power!

In Q1, Rossini drivers Andrew Carbonell, Selin Rollan, Danny Steyn and Ralle Rookey qualified 3rd, 9th, 12th and 13th respectively. In Race 1 Carbonell drove a stellar race to finish in 3rd on the podium. Steyn finished 8th with Rollan 9th.

In Q3 Steyn captured the pole ahead of Jim Drago and Alex Bolanos. In Race 2 Carbonell had an issue and dripped out while contending for the lead, and Steyn while charging for 4th place over drove Turn 5 and had a tremendous shunt!
